Stipendiary Trainee (Electrical)

Vacancies:

  • Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Electrical Engineering recognized by the Government of India /  MInistry of HUman Resource Development. The Diploma in Engineering should be 3 years duration after SSC/HSC. 

OR

  • Two years Diploma through Lateral entry to 2nd year after HSC approved by AICTE with not less than 60% marks in Electrical Engineering at HSC level Examination.

Note: Candidates who have pursued Diploma through lateral entry to second year Diploma after SSC + ITI are not eleigible.

Note: All the prescribed essential qualifications should only be of full time, regular and from recognized University / Institution. Qualification acquired through distance learning, part time, private, open schooling/NIOS etc. will not be considered in any case

Essential Physical Standards (Height & Weight):

Minimum height: 160 Cms., Minimum Weight: 45.5.Kgs.
Note: Essential physical standard is relaxable, if candidate is otherwise medicaly fit.

Salary / Remuneration:

Pay Level & Approximate Monthly Emoluments : 

  • During 1st year of training stipend of ? 24000/- Per Month
  • During 2nd year of training stipend of ? 26000/- Per Month
  • Book allowance (one time grant) - ?3000/-

After successful completion of training, the trainees are likely to be considered for appointment to the post of Scientific Assistant/B (Group-B) in the pay of ? 35400/- in level 6 of Revised Pay Structure (Pay Matrix) under CCS (RP) Rules, 2016. Additional increment/s, as per extant rules, depending upon performance during training program may also be granted.

Written Examination + Personal Interview:

Place of posting: 

Place of posting will be Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site, NPCIL, However, may be posted at any of the NPCIL Units/Sites, Head Quarter (Mumbai) or Upcoming Projects of NPCIL in India depending on organizational requirement. However, the post carries with it liability to be transferred to any of the Units/Sites/HQ of NPCIL.

 

Period of Training: The period of training for the post of Category-I Stipendiary Trainees/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) – Diploma Holders in Engineering / Science Graduates will be 1½ years (18 months).

 

Details of Bond to be executed by the Category-I Stipendiary Trainee: Four years and six months (4½ years) after completion of training & Indemnity Bond / Bank Guarantee for an amount of Rs. 4,47,000/-
